PERMANENT MAKE-UP
No More Eyebrow Pencils and Lip Liners! Wake Up and Be Beautiful!
In our fast paced society, women don’t have much time to spend on their faces anymore. Oftentimes, we are lucky to find time to put on eyeliner, lipliner or even eyebrow pencil as we run out of the door. And oftentimes, we look like the patch up job. It's great if you are able to draw on your brows and make them look realistic or enhance your lips in just a few minutes, but I've yet to see powder or pencils that actually look like tiny hairs and most women cannot recreate a natural-looking lip edge in seconds.
Here is a suggestion... get up 15 minutes earlier, and make sure your cosmetic drawer stays organized...I like to use tiny baskets for my lip pencils, shadows and lipsticks, so when you look in, it is pleasant and not a mess. think of your morning make-up application as a soothing ritual... some of my clients put on music and light a scented candle...slow down, it's your face! Is anyone timing us when we wax the kitchen floor? Now, of course this advice does not apply when the significant other is standing with arms folded and a tapping foot...but, make some extra time and play... take the proper time to properly transform yourself.
- Sterile needles are prepackaged, open in front of you, and disposed of in a hazardous waste container.
- A topical numbing solution is used to minimize discomfort
- My pigment colors can be soft and natural-looking or a bit more dramatic. I custom blend colors for each client, taking into consideration the over all color intensity and undertone of the skin.
- Your end result may be deepened with additional applications, if you like, or lightened if needed
- Colors appear darker and unnatural looking for approximately five days, and then lighten to a more natural look in about 8 days.
- Most of my clients require one session plus a shorter touch-up session. many individuals require additional applications initially or at later dates.
- Procedure times vary according to the individual's sensitivity, hydration, density, elasticity, age, and overall condition of the skin.
- For One Week: drink 8 glasses of water prior to having your procedures, pigment is retained more easily in a well-hydrated skin. It is important to maintain a high water intake while having these procedures.
- Many factors influence the longevity of permanent make-up such as: sun exposure and tanning booths on face, synthetic hormones, retin-a, and glycolic acid as well as chlorine pools, excessive dry skin, various drugs and medication, starting, stopping or changing dosage of medications, high alcohol intake, inadequate water intake and smoking. this could possibly determine the need for additional later applications.
- You must apply an spf 30 sunblock to the brows and lips, and sunglasses for the eyeliner. keep retin-a and glycolic acid off treated areas, and maintain a high water intake for overall hydration of skin.
- Avoid exposure to sun, and tanning booths.
- I use only MRI friendly pigments.
- For longer-lasting Permanent Make-up please keep glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy, retin-A and any other exfoliants off the treated areas.
- If you are being treated for any medical condition, or have had any kind of recent surgery you will require a Doctor's release.
- You may not donate blood for one year following Permanent Make-up Procedures.
- You may not have Permanent Make-up Procedures if you are pregnant or nursing.

Frequently Asked Questions about Permanent Make-Up
What is Permanent Make-Up?
This medically developed procedure is a method of implanting color pigments into your skin to create lasting cosmetic effect. Make-up can be as soft or as dramatic as you like.
Why use Permanent make-up?
- Permanent make-up gives you the freedom to swim, exercise, and even cry - without worrying about your make-up smearing or coming off.
- Permanent make-up allows you the option to enhance your natural features or to create a dramatic effect. The choice is yours!
- Permanent make-up is perfect for the woman who is allergic to standard cosmetics on the market.
- It is ideal for the woman with poor eyesight - a polished look without the daily hassle.
- More women are opting for the "wash and wear face", with brows and eyeliner that never smudge and lip color that won't wear off.
- It is the perfect solution for the woman who is busy, athletic, or has little or no eye brows and eyelashes. Corrections for the lips too!
What Can Permanent Make-Up Do For Me?
- EYEBROWS - Permanent make-up will make the eyebrows look fuller, naturally. The brows are balanced with your facial features and are shaped to your liking. You will never need an eyebrow pencil again.
- EYELINER - Eyeliner is applied at the lash line to make your eyelashes look fuller and to make your eyes really stand out. A natural looking fine line to a dramatic, sophisticated look - it is your choice.
- LIPS AND LIPLINER - Permanent lipliner is available in shades of warm and cool tones. Lipliner helps to accentuate your lips, enhance the shape and even correct uneven lip contours. the entire lip can also be pigmented for a more polished look. It is ideal for lips that will not hold lipstick.
How Long Does Permanent Make-Up Last?
- The treatment is permanent. It will not wash off. However it will soften with age, sun skin peeling, and cleansing lotions and sometimes will need to be retouched.
How Long Does the Procedure Take?
- Most sessions take one to two hours per procedure.
Does It Hurt?
- Comfort levels vary from person to person. New topical anesthetics are used for numbing that make the process more comfortable. Some clients even fall asleep. Again, it depends upon your comfort level
Could I have an Allergic Reaction?
- There is little chance of an allergic reaction. We do administer a patch and an allergy test prior to any procedure as a precaution.
Is It Safe?
- Yes. The procedure is performed under strict sterilization rules. A well-trained certified technician administers the procedure. All materials are disposed of properly and are never re-used.
Could I have an Allergic Reaction?
- There is little chance of an allergic reaction.
Is It a Form of Tattoo?
- Yes, but the tattoo goes down to the third (dermal) layer of the skin and uses indigo or pelican inks. Permanent make-up is applied to the second layer of the skin (dermis). These pigments hold true to color and will not turn the skin blue or pink like tattoo dyes will.
Can I Go Back to Work Or Out in the Public Immediately After the Procedure?
Yes. You may have some swelling or puffiness. Your eyes will look like you have had a good cry. This may last only a couple of days. The intensity of your permanent make-up for the first week or so will be much stronger than the final color will be - up to 50% more intense. You will be given instructions on how to care for your procedure to minimize these inconveniences.

MICRODERMABRASION
Skin Resurfacing
The DiamondTone™ Wands are Safe * Clean * Precise * Effective
For all men and women who are interested in improving the appearance and health of their skin
The DiamondTone ™ microdermabrader and Wand system produces superior skin rejuvenation. This innovative skin care technology offers a clean, controlled procedure - a better way to healthier skin.
Diamond microdermabrasion peels away dead skin and reduces wrinkles, acne scars, and brown spots. It's a kinder, gentler twist on an old procedure. You may have heard of microdermabrasion. Crystals sand blast the face leaving skin red and sore.
- Exfoliation occurs only as the wand is drawn across the skin.
- No loose crystals or other abrasives that contaminate you or your environment.
- Even at its highest settings, DiamondTone ™ is regarded as gentler than other skin care systems.
- Achieve skin rejuvenation without the adverse effects of loose particles, burning, irritation, and skin reactions.
- The precise diamond wand chip size and vacuum settings assure the appropriate amount of abrasion that will produce uniform results.
Patricia Russel says, “I used to get dermabrasion treatments, this system is much more effective. Because I have sensitive skin, there was no redness or irritation afterwards. As a result, I now have silky smooth, blemish free skin.
Julianne Thomas says, “I was looking for a more effective peel, as I looked around RML Skincare was able to help me experience the diamond tipped wand, the top layer of skin is removed while a gentle vacuum takes away the dead cells. Next a cooling is mask is applied. Then the face is massaged with a vitamin/mineral-filled cream to help new skin cells grow. I really enjoyed the experience.”
